Camp Gan Israel was created to provide children with a fun and meaningful summer program, while fostering growth individually and socially in a Jewish atmosphere.  The daily schedule includes an exciting mix of sports, field trips, special programs and activities designed to be educational, fun, and conducive to building character and nurturing friendships.

Some examples are:

Kids Got Power: Campers will enjoy  meaningful Tikun Olam projects together with our camp partners such as, United way, Humane Society, Jacob, The Place of Forsyth County, FIDF, Magen David Edom, and the Friendship Circle.

Shabbat Program:  Children love our weekly Shabbat parties! Our exciting and inspirational Shabbat Extravaganza is a wonderful way for the children to end their camp week and to take home the warmth and joy of camp for Shabbat.

Art Classes:  Our professional art teachers prepare unique and enjoyable art for the children to create. Art pieces are sent home on Fridays

Cooking/Baking Classes: Campers become experts in making delicious kosher dishes which are so much fun to prepare and taste.

Sports: Our campers will receive coaching in various sports and athletic activities. The fun filled classes include activities that enhance and develop motor skills and physical fitness.
